The school works actively with “the pupil in the centre” method and has a thematic focus on language and communication as essential tools for individual development. The aim is to improve pupils’ first language skills. We want to engage in a partnership with other schools also interested in developing their teaching of 1st languages in order to increase the achievements of pupils. We are at the moment working with the “to write yourself to reading” approach, based on the Trageton method, and this is also something that we are interested in developing further in a partnership.

The aim with this project is to develop the teaching of first languages. The target group is teaching staff for the age range of 6-9 years primarily. This we would like to do by exchanging good ideas through staff exchanges, job-shadowing and transnational teaching seminars where different approaches are discussed and reflected upon.
